About Oak Freestanding Kitchens

At Oak Kitchens, we believe the kitchen is the heart of every home, a place where life happens, stories unfold, and memories are made. More than a space for cooking, it’s where people gather, share, and connect. That’s why each of our designs is created to be both practical and deeply personal, a balance of beauty, comfort, and craftsmanship.

We take pride in crafting kitchens that combine timeless design with effortless functionality. Our goal is to create spaces that not only look exceptional but also feel welcoming and lived in. Whether your style leans toward classic charm or contemporary simplicity, our designs are built to bring warmth, character, and a lasting sense of home to every project.

With over 15 years of experience dedicated exclusively to oak kitchens, our team of designers and makers brings skill, passion, and precision to every project. Each piece is built using premium materials, from solid oak frames to expertly engineered panels, ensuring strength, durability, and timeless appeal.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Our freestanding, mix-and-match units allow you to design a kitchen that truly fits your lifestyle. From your first consultation to a bespoke 3D design, we’ll work closely with you every step of the way, refining every detail until your kitchen is exactly as you imagined it, handcrafted, individual, and completely your own.

Oak Freestanding Kitchens is built on a simple idea. A kitchen should feel welcoming, relaxed and full of character, while still offering all the practicality you need for everyday living. For more than 15 years we have focused exclusively on designing and crafting solid oak freestanding kitchens, combining traditional woodworking skills with a fresh and contemporary approach.

Our team believes that the heart of every home deserves quality materials, thoughtful design and a sense of ease. That is why we use premium solid oak and durable engineered panels, creating kitchens that look beautiful and feel built to last. Every project is guided by our friendly in house designers, who are available seven days a week to help you explore ideas and find the perfect balance of style and function.

Freestanding kitchens offer something special. Unlike fitted kitchens, they give you complete freedom to mix and match units, create your own layout and express your personal style. Whether you love the clean simplicity of contemporary oak, the warmth of natural finishes or the charm of a hand painted kitchen, your space can be tailored exactly to your home.

When you visit our showroom inside Simply Dutch at Leeming Bar, you can explore full displays of each range and see how different pieces work together. Our designers will help you understand all the possibilities, from clever storage solutions to feature islands and larders. To bring your ideas to life, we can also create a detailed 3D computerised design of your kitchen, allowing you to refine every element until it feels just right.

Our Contemporary Oak range is one of our most popular choices. With smooth lines, warm grain and a modern feel, it suits both traditional properties and new builds. It reflects our belief that natural materials and thoughtful design create spaces that feel timeless and comfortable to live in.

Choosing a new kitchen is an exciting journey, and we are here to make it enjoyable from start to finish. We take the time to listen, understand your home and help you find solutions that feel both beautiful and practical. Our experience, friendly approach and commitment to craftsmanship mean you can feel confident every step of the way.

With high quality oak, hand finished details and units designed for flexibility, your kitchen will continue to look and feel wonderful for years to come. We take pride in creating spaces that are not only functional but uplifting to spend time in.

You are always welcome to visit our showroom to explore our ranges, see the quality of the materials first hand and chat with our team about your plans. Whether you are beginning your kitchen project or ready to refine your design, we are here to help you create a kitchen you will love.
