Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prepare the kitchen in any way?
Yes, your kitchen is the final part of the process you should ensure your floors are leveled, finished and walls painted ready for the arrival of the units.
Will I need a kitchen fitter?
Yes you will need a kitchen fitter. However, this process is nowhere near as difficult as a fitted kitchen and if you’re particularly handy with tools you may even be able to do it yourself.
Do you supply appliances?
We can supply appliances, though it often works in your favour financially to source your own. Our kitchens are designed to take integrated appliances, so all standard sizes should fit. However we do always recommend sending over the dimensions of your appliances, just so that we can ensure it will all fit.
When and how do I pay?
Upon finalsing the design and placing the order, we require a 50% deposit. This can be paid over the phone, or via BACS. This allows us to carry out any adjustments or painting that need to be done, as well as any building any bespoke pieces you have ordered. Once the units are ready we will contact you to arrange delivery and organise the payment of the final 50%.
I don’t see the unit I am looking for on the website, can you make it?
Absolutely. We have a full time joiner that makes bespoke pieces, just let us know what you’re after and we’ll get you a price.
Are your units solid oak?
No. The frames of our units are solid oak and we use engineered panels on the sides and doors. This makes them suitable for the moisture and heat changes in a kitchen, as it allows the wood to expand and contract without splitting. It is a design feature of our product, which enables longevity of your kitchen. There are differences between each range, if you would like more information please give us a call.
Can you paint in any colour?
Yes, we get all our paints mixed up into an AC lacquer, this is a two part paint which is sprayed on and sets hard after 24 hours. This makes it more durable than a standard paint. We send out touch up paint with every painted kitchen.
